The Betty boop cake part two


After that the cake was two layers of carrot cake (because it doesn’t go stale very fast and a big birthday cake might be eaten over a few days), marzipan and iced. Then the bottom layer was airbrushed with a home mixed pink, and the whole thing adorned with black and white harts. I made a thin beading to smarten up the bottoms because I couldn’t get my hands on the ribbon I wanted. But here it is.
