It’s snowing everywhere else in Britain currently but Lincoln has escaped relatively unscathed except for the freezing fog. Fog is the sort of default weather setting for Lincoln we’ve experienced several bouts of it and the cathedral has turned out to be a shockingly good weather indicator. The heaviness of the cloulds can be determined by turning ones gaze to the cathedral and if one can see the top of the towers then its not that heavy. However as with today there is nothing visible and there is fog there is deinately a certain weightiness to the cloud cover.
As with the rest of the country Lincoln is predicted snow from Friday onwards. But also it will apparently snow here all the way through Saturday and into Sunday. Somehow I don’t think it will sustain snow for that long here.
