The occasional Chair

It’s an occasional chair,
Got nails sticking out,
But we don’t care,
More often than not,
We don’t sit there,
That is the meaning of occasional chair,

It’s an occasional chair,
A rickety structure,
Seams coming loose where the,
Stuffing has ruptured,
Sit at your peril,
Sit if you dare,
Risk falling through the occasional chair,

It’s an occasional chair,
Not for regular sitting,
Not for reclining,
Or chatty drink wine-ing,
Built for the arse of the guest who is spare,
Why else would we call it the occasional chair?

It’s an occasional chair,
Not up to spec,
Lean the wrong way,
And you might hit the deck,
Posteriors placed with a wish and a prayer,
Best be avoiding the occasional chair.

P.S A Garden party post will come, I promise, but it’s been so sunny in ol’ Blighty of late that I haven’t been sitting inside on my computer, I’ve been out, reveling in the clement sun. Also, I’ve been busy. I painted a door.
