Week 41 of the Doodles

Well hello there and how has your weekend been? Yes I have missed Friday, now quite dramatically, (I actually watch my laptop tick over from 23:59 to 00:00) but it was all a cunning plan – otherwise known as a happy accident. On Saturday I met up with Gwen and her sister-in-law Anna and we ended up talking about a run of Advent mice pictures. So that will be your treat for the 4 Sundays of Advent and one more for Christmas Day; the pictures will run as close to the Friday as possible however, but as you can see from this blog post its started off well. In other news we got gridlocked on Saturday whilst shopping, there were so many people at the Christmas Market that it took us over 10 minutes to cross the road to the Body Shop, you know how Emperor Penguins huddle and move round in the winter? That’s what it was like and twice we came to a complete standstill, except this had an added danger of if something happened there was no where to move too to let emergency services get through and there was no policing of such a huge crowd, when really there should have been. I’m afraid this is still a bit of sketchy drawing, apologies dears but I was rushing to try and finish it.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

So the mice are, as many of you no doubt are, taking down their Christmas decorations from behind the skirting board ready for Christmas. If you ever wonder what happened to all your lost matchboxes, that’s whose stolen them over time to store the straggles of bead that was so popular in the 90s and all the little scraps of decoration that have fallen off and got swept under the sofa. And of course who doesn’t play catch with a bauble?

au revoir
